Position: Assistant Manager- Procurement (Solar – US/India) 

Location : Delhi/NCR, India (Remote/Hybrid Mode)

As a Procurement Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in centralizing Staten’s procurement of Modules, Inverters, Racking, BOS and services for US/India projects. Your responsibilities will include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The goal is to find innovative ways to cut costs, allowing the company to invest in growth and people.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of Solar PV plant equipment such as Structures, cables, and BOS items.
  • Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, and conduct negotiations with vendors.
  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for solar components.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor vendor performance in terms of delivery, quality, and service.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and project requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering, project, and site teams to understand material requirements.
  • Track procurement schedules to align with project timelines.
  • Maintain procurement MIS, reports, and documentation.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to support strategic decisions.

Skills Required:

  • The candidate must have the required Qualification & At least 3-4 Years Solar Industry experience.
  • Ready to work during PST hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), which corresponds to 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM IST.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with any degree/certification in supply chain management, logistics (Desirable).
